Established in April 1996 by Mark Huntley and Tim Sheridan with a staff of one mechanic, Pumps N Solar today deals in all aspects of rural irrigation and watering design, equipment and servicing, supported by the combined expertise of them and their team of 9 staff. |
Our core business is rural water supply, specialising in pumping and irrigation systems, including;

A complete range of solar-powered water pumping equipment and accessories;

Agricultural crop spray rigs and componentry ;
The comprehensive Pumps N Solar service includes design, sales, installation, spare parts and maintenance of these products.
We conduct on-property inspections for water systems, and can completely hydraulically design complete stock watering systems, including pumps, engines, generators, poly pipe and fittings, valves, tanks and troughs.
We build to your specific needs, while also offering factory-built units if required. Our fully-equipped workshop also handles mechanical repairs and servicing of pumps and engines.
Originally purchased as an existing Roma small engine service provider, Pumps N Solar continues to sell and service a wide range of lawn care equipment, including mowers, tillers, brush cutters and chainsaws.

As our name suggests, Pumps N Solar is committed to servicing the water equipment needs of rural operators throughout the wider region.
We will shortly include a map showing our major service area, taking in a large sweep of inland Queensland from the western Darling Downs through to the Northern Territory border.
